Visitor Restrictions

Safety measures remain in place as stay-at-home restrictions lessen

Protecting the health and safety of our patients, staff and community is our top priority. As Salina Regional Health Center and its affiliated clinics begin to gradually increase access to visits such as wellness and prevention checks, we will continue to ensure measures are in place for your safety.

  • We will continue to screen all patients and visitors as they come into our clinic facilities and ask that if a patient needs assistance to/at an appointment that there only be one person/visitor accompanying the patient, who is not ill.
  • Staff screeners will continue to ask all visitors and patients a series of questions related to if they are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath. They will also be asked questions related to previous travel and previous exposure to anyone who has traveled or been diagnosed with COVID-19.
  • We request that all patients and visitors bring and wear a mask or face covering during the entirety of your visit to the clinic.
  • We still ask that if you are experiencing a fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, or other cold or flu-like symptoms, please contact your primary care physician. Your primary care physician can direct you to the most appropriate place to seek care, including offering you a virtual visit to aid in that determination. Should you be directed to receive care at the clinic, one of our urgent care locations, or the emergency room, our providers and staff are prepared and ready to provide quality care for your medical needs.

Patients and families are encouraged to utilize electronic means to communicate with one another such as Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, WebEx, and other social media sites. Guest WiFi is available throughout the hospital.

Current screening measures at Salina Regional affiliated clinics also remain in force as we begin to gradually increase access to visits such as wellness and prevention checks.

It is requested that anyone experiencing a fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, or other cold or flu-like symptoms contact their primary care physician before seeking care. Your primary care physician can direct you to the most appropriate place to seek care, including offering you a virtual visit.

Don’t ignore or delay your health! It is important to address all of your health care needs with your provider. Medical issues and treatments, from preventive care like well-child visits, vaccinations, cancer screenings and routine annual physical exams to management of chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease, do not go away during these times. Please do not hesitate to obtain needed health care. We are doing everything in our power to ensure our hospital spaces are safe and our providers are prepared to care for you and your family.

We appreciate your help and understanding as Salina Regional Health Center continues to evaluate the best ways to maintain high quality care for our patients, keeping your safety and the safety of our staff and community a top priority.
